High-end cooking manufacturer Ambach has come up trumps for Hilton by installing no fewer than 24 of its products at one of the chain’s top properties in the UK.
The Ali Group brand’s kit was specified for major work that was carried out at the Hilton Bournemouth, which recently undertook a fit-out of its main kitchen and restaurant show kitchen, as well as a kitchen for its sky bar.
With the hotel requiring a central facility capable of managing breakfast, lunch and dinner service, it called on consultants Humble Arnold to come up with the perfect design. The plans had to accommodate the large wood oven that occupies a significant part of the working space available, while the equipment had to extremely high performance.
Ambach Chef 850 line was chosen for both the restaurant and the sky bar as the most suitable solution, especially as the design needed to take into account various space constraints.
The range is modular and can be configured to suit the space due to its hygienic joint system. It is also easy to clean and met the aesthetic needs of Hilton.
All in all 24 Ambach products were installed for the fit-out, including hobs, fryers, bratt pans and boilers. The high flexibility of the solution proposed enabled a made-to-measure pasta cooker and fridge unit to be included, with Ambach UK dealing directly with staff training on site.
Stephen Arnold, director of Humble Arnold, said; “We’re fully aware of Hilton’s requirements and we only select companies aligned with their quality standards. We knew that Hilton was very familiar with Ambach and we were certain that its kitchens were totally compliant with such a high-end hotel.”
The Hilton Bournemouth is famous for the Schpoons & Forx restaurant, managed by celebrity chef Matt Tebbutt, and for LEVEL8IGHT, one of the highest sky bars on the south coast.
